The patients below are the current members of our Patient Reference Group.

Peter Hazelton (Chairman)

I am Peter Hazelton and I am a patient registered at this practice.

I am married with two adult daughters and two grandchildren. I served as a Police Officer for over 31 years and since retiring I now work as a First Aid trainer for the St Johns Ambulance.

My primary motivation to joining the Patient Participation Group, is that I believe passionately in the NHS, its staff and the service it delivers to its users. I hope to ensure that the high quality, gold standard service that I have received locally, at every level, remains available to every person who has need to use the service.

John Weir (Secretary)

We have lived in the Dorchester area for about fifteen years and I have been involved in the charity and voluntary sector during this time. I am currently a trustee of AgeUK Dorchester and chairman of the Friends of DCH and serve on the council of governors at the hospital. I also help with the foodbank at my church.
